Life Changing Vessel

It is indeed a awesome and blessed day! Almost 100 pounds down, I am continuing on my journey to eat healthy. I don’t consume 64 oz. of water, as you can tend to OVER hydrate your body that can lead to danger zones. My morning started out with prayer with an awesome God! As soon as I was jogging, I saw 2 baby fawn in a thicket where their mother was close by. I am on a new journey with my eating for my vessel. My morning breakfast is MRM Whey Protein and a tablespoon of Greek Yogurt mid morning snack usually is a cup of strawberries or QUEST Protein Bar. THE BEST BAR OUT THERE! Lunch is 4-5 oz of Protein and green leafy veggies, followed by a cup of strawberries for a snack. I stay away from grapes, cherries, and bananas. The reason being they are too high in carbs. Dinner is the same…4-5 oz of Protein and green leafy veggies. Quest Protein Bar for snack. I don’t eat out, as the sodium the restaurants put in food is VERY HIGH! And HIGH CALORIES! So, I stay and enjoy my clean eating at home. My craving to jog every morning now is amazing. I love it! Where I have a back issue, with no cushion between my discs, and they wanted to do surgery……..Together God and I came up with a plan. I heard in my heart to eat clean for my vessel. He made me whole, not broken! I started by cleaning out my fridge. YIKES! I had to give up coffee creamer! My favorite! But, I pitched it. Next, I heard high protein, and green leafy veggies for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is high protein and a tablespoon of Greek Yogurt. No added salt, no high calorie salad dressing, no pop…( again yikes ), no butter, oils, sugar, no artifical anything. Drink water only when thirsty! And, little by little my vessel started to change. I oil pull every morning also with coconut oil. Very benefical! More on that later. To all have a very blessed day!

ImageDoing something that absorbs your mind not only prevents you from snacking out of boredom but research is showing that it can boost your immune system and exercise your brain in a way that actually triggers it to create new cells (something that may help prevent age-related memory problems).  Instead of slumping in front of the television each night, try to do something engaging tonight.  It you’re a creative type, get out some paints; if you’re a fashionista, you may want to take up sewing, or just buy yourself a word puzzle.  You will be amazed on how time will fly.

ImageAim for LAGOM in your life.  This Swedish word means “JUST ENOUGH” and harks back to an old Viking tradition whereby people used to bond over a communal cup of mead; they didn’t want to take too much or there wouldn’t be enough for everyone else.  And that’s a good way to think about the rest of your life: too many family chores don’t leave enough time for you.  Think LAGOM in everyhing you do-including in all of your goals.  

SPINAL DECOMPRESSION~ BY LYNNE CARROLL

 I have a bad back.  I decided that I really didn’t want back surgery and started to do my own research. The Neuro-Surgeon that I saw told me that he would see me in operating room number 4 very soon.    I went to see someone who specialized in SPINAL DECOMPRESSION.  Floating with weights on your ankles in 9 feet of water for 20 minutes,  and using other floatation devices helps.  A reduction of pressure inside the discs ( decompression ) aides in pulling nutrients, oxygen and moisture back into the disc.  Researchers at NASA discovered years ago that some astronauts experiencing chronic low back pain were without symptoms after prolonged time in space.  THE THERA SOURCE METHOD utilizes spinal decompression and aquatics to mimic the effects of anti-gravity proven to solve a variety of spinal problems.  It is working! And it is PERMANENT!  I am now jogging 5-7 miles a day.  Trust me, I was not jogging a year ago.  I was hutched over, and in pain daily.  For anyone that does ever experience low back L4-L5 disc herniation causing the sciatica to scream your name out loud, do your own research.  I am one pleased and happy cookie jogging around town!
